Pulse's Theme Bible Verse:

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)" Ephesians 2:4-5

Did you know that every human being is born spiritually dead? It's true! More than that; Scripture teaches that we are by nature children of wrath and enemies of God. Spiritually dead people are unwilling and unable to repent on their own; help must come to them. That is why salvation is of the Lord - that is why it is called grace.

As Christians, we serve a just and merciful God. The beauty of serving a God that is rich in mercy and that has a great love for His own is this; we have the privilege of being called children of God. All deserve death for we all have sinned, but God loves us to the extent of sending His Son to pay for our sin.

Our sin nature separates us from God. When a person acknowledges that he is a sinner and cries out to God in repentance surrendering to Christ as Lord, God justifies the sinner once and for all. It is by God's grace that men are saved. Salvation brings spiritual life to those who were dead in sin; in other words there is now a new pulse of spiritual life.

Children of God are a minority but they are never alone. The power that raised Christ from the dead is the same power that enables Christians to live a holy life. Let's live for Him!
